Unfortunately it can take some time before the right plan to follow is found and this is normally after following hard to manage and maintain programmes of different diets. Books about the subject are everywhere, in books stores, advertised in the media, in magazines and on internet searches - and more often than not people buy them all thinking they will find the solution to their weight problems.
This is not the answer. Buying countless books about various diets which are too difficult to follow or are just plain unhealthy is not cost effective, nor does it help you to lose weight which is why you are thinking about diets. Books about diets should be written by people who have had weight problems themselves, or know people who have, that way you know that they are written from a good perspective and not just a money making scheme. A excellent example of this type of book is "The Diet Solution" which is an ebook that uses blood sugar levels as its heart. Many people who diet think that restricting food and calories is the way to lose weight and although it will enable you to do this it is very unhealthy. By stabilising blood sugar you will not have the sudden hunger pangs that go hand in hand with many diets and instead you will feel full for longer by eating more of the right foods - what could be better?
